In partnership with MAGIX, mufin offers the freedb CD information as license free solution for retrieving information about a CD’s artists and song information. FreeDB offers detailed information for millions of music releases – free of charge for commercial and non-commercial uses.
Any application using freeDB can provide users with additional information like artist or song name when looking up or reading audio CDs. All data stored in the freeDB database is published under the GNU General Public License.
