2009

In February 2009 the mufin player is released. It's the world first media player to let users organize their digital music libraries by sound. By organizing music greatly improves handling of large media libaries with thousand of digital music files.

2008

The music discovery platform “www.mufin.com“ is available as a beta version. It
enables people to move beyond current geographic and marketing boundaries
and tap into a global library of artists through sound-based algorithm
recommendations. Mufin.co is based on mufin's audioscout music recommendation technology.

Once a track has been discovered, it can be listened to, purchased, put on a playlist or shared with friends on Facebook.

Based in Berlin, mufin is established as 100% daughter company of MAGIX. Mufin is the offical successor to m2any, owner of the AudioID technology.

At the same time, the mufin MusicFinder software is released. Its the first software to automatically search and play music suitable to an individual’s tastes and mood.

In addition, mufin offers companys the ability to monitor audio streams using its music recoginition technology mufin audioid as well as to utilize music recommendations with its mufin audioscout music recommendation technology.
